Set up by Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act no.8 of 2013 which aims to spread education to all sections of society by Dashmesh educational charitable trust which saw its origins in 1999, this is one University which aims not to preach, but teach, with empathy and prudence. Propagating the message of Shree Guru Gobind Singh Ji, this University abides by the saying that “ Spread of learning is the best service to mankind”. The SGT dental college founded way back in 2002 was the first step in this direction. Over the years the dental department of SGT is widely known for its skilled faculty and quality teaching.

India is a  developing nation where medical facilities are scarce. Statistics prove a dismal picture. Infant mortalities, as well as maternal mortalities, are high. In this 21st century its heart wrenching to think that in our country, people still struggle to get the basic medical amenities. SGT University aims to improve this and set up a future which is bright and optimistic. The Medical Department was created with this objective. Students can choose from a plethora of medical courses and skills.

The faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences consists of a 580-bed multi-speciality hospital for hands-on training and skill development. The medical labs are well equipped with state of the art infrastructure.

Similarly, the non-medical department too has a galore of choices for students. Right from agricultural sciences, commerce and management, engineering and technology, law, mass comm. and media tech, fashion and design and several other non-medical streams,.... a college freshman is left with plenty of options.
